BRADFLIX 2025 Film Schedule
The Village Hall has invested in a large screen format cinema equipment enabling us to screen movies in the hall. Simply wander to the Village Hall, with your own seat if you so desire, settle in with some popcorn, ice cream and a drink from the bar/kitchen and enjoy the film. NEED TO CHANGE/CANCEL a booking? Click the "Manage my Reservations" link to the right, enter the email address you booked with and change or cancel your booking. 
Saturday February 15, 2025 Family Film - 3.00 PM: The Wild Robot (U) A 2024 animated sci-fi adventure film directed by Chris Sanders. The story follows Roz, a service robot voiced by Lupita Nyong'o, who is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island. To survive, Roz must adapt to her new environment, build relationships with the local wildlife, and become the adoptive mother of an orphaned gosling named Brightbill. As Roz learns to navigate the challenges of the wild, she discovers the complexities of nature and the importance of community. The film combines stunning visuals with heartfelt storytelling, making it a captivating experience for audiences of all ages. Evening Film - 7.00 pm: Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (12) A 2023 action-adventure film directed by James Mangold. Set in 1969, the film follows Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and his estranged goddaughter, Helena (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), as they race to locate a powerful artifact, the Dial of Destiny, before Dr. Jürgen Voller (Mads Mikkelsen), a Nazi-turned-NASA scientist, can use it to alter the outcome of World War II. The film explores themes of legacy, adventure, and the clash between old and new enemies. 
Saturday March 15, 2025 Family Film - 3.00 PM: Paddington In Peru (PG) a 2024 live-action animated adventure comedy film directed by Dougal Wilson. The story follows Paddington as he travels to Peru to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy at a retirement home. Upon arrival, he discovers that Aunt Lucy has mysteriously disappeared into the jungle. Joined by the Brown family, Paddington embarks on an adventurous quest through the Amazon rainforest to find her. Along the way, they encounter various challenges and uncover secrets about Aunt Lucy's past. The film combines humor, heart, and a touch of mystery, making it a delightful experience for audiences of all ages. Evening Film - 7.00 pm: Gladiator 2 (15) A 2024 action-adventure film directed by Ridley Scott. Set 16 years after the original, the story follows Lucius Verus (Paul Mescal), the son of Maximus and Lucilla, who is living in North Africa. When the Roman army, led by General Marcus Acacius (Pedro Pascal), invades, Lucius is taken to Rome as a slave and forced to become a gladiator. As he rises through the ranks, Lucius discovers his true heritage and plots to overthrow the corrupt twin emperors, Geta and Caracalla. The film explores themes of legacy, revenge, and the struggle for freedom.

There is no charge to attend a film, however we do run a raffle at each event to raise funds to support hall activities. |
